Newgale holidays – now only a stroll from the Pembrokeshire Coast path.

The 186-mile route traverses some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Britain, with the unspoiled clifftops and undisturbed habitats allowing for wildlife, flora and fauna unlike anywhere else. Home to seals, porpoises, whales, puffins, rare sea birds, and even more rare hedgerow inhabitants, it’s no wonder that this coastline draws over 4 million visitors every year. 

At Newgale Holidays, we’re perched on the land above the spectacular surfing beach of Newgale. Our guests love the views across our land to St Bride’s bay, looking up towards St David’s Head. It’s a few minutes in the car to the beach, and with our e-bike service coming soon, it’s a quick commute through the village of Roch before you arrive at the pebbles and sand. 

However, just as the Wales Coast path turns 10, we’re lucky to have benefitted from the People’s Postcode Lottery grant, with help from the National Trust, to open up a new footpath between our accommodation at Rainbolts Hill, across 2km of National Trust fields, right the way to Maiden Hall, a car park above Newgale beach with direct access to the coast. That means that there’s now a safe route between your campsite or cottage right to the Pembrokeshire Coast path!

It’s a beautiful walk that highlights the very best that this part of West Wales has to offer. In front of you are acres of organic farmland, where generations of families like ours have worked and lived. Visible behind you are the Preseli Hills, the mountains steeped in myth and mystery, home to the Bluestones that make up Stonehenge. And ahead of you is the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, the most spectacular coastal hike you’ll ever take.
