The Summer Holidays are here!

Spending time outdoors during the summer holidays is a fantastic idea! There are plenty of activities and places to explore in Pembrokeshire that can make your summer unforgettable. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Hiking and Nature Walks: Make use of our direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, or there are nearby trails and local nature reserves to go for a hike or a leisurely walk. It’s an excellent way to connect with nature, get some exercise, and enjoy beautiful landscapes.

Beach Fun: Take advantage of over 50 beaches within Pembrokeshire, with 10 of them having a fantastic Blue Flag status! Relax on the sand, swim in the ocean, play beach games, and soak up the sun.

Picnics: Pack a delicious picnic and head to a nearby castle or one of many local scenic spots such as Scolton Manor or Llys-Y-Fran Reservoir. Enjoy some tasty food with family and friends whilst making the most of the fresh air.

Outdoor Sports: You can participate in outdoor sports like football, basketball, tennis, or even frisbee golf at Clerkenhill Adventure Farm. There are also many places to partake in some bird watching or falconry, take part in some mountain biking or have a game of golf at Haverfordwest Golf Club.

Fishing: If you enjoy fishing, summer is a great time to do it. Grab your fishing gear and head to a local fishing spot, such as Puddleduck Fishery located just south of Haverfordwest on the Pembroke Road.
